A CDL-A license offers you the broadest range of vehicles for transport. You are authorized to drive both single vehicles and combination vehicles (tractor-trailers) with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds. Additionally, you can haul trailers that surpass 10,000 pounds.
